Access Guide Project
Beech & Bryan were approached by the South Ayrshire Access Panel to conduct an access audit to ensure the Access Guides for Girvan and Troon gave an accurate picture for those visitors to the area and the local community who use the guides.
Beech & Bryan were approached by the Dumfries and
Galloway Access Panel to conduct an introductory access
audit training session to ensure that their auditors were ready for their project of access auditing the accessible WCs within Dumfries and Galloway. After which, we supervised several of the audits.
Beech & Bryan were approached to advise and conduct an
access audit to ensure the project was inclusive to all.
The Greenlink Project was a proposed allotment site at the end of Braidhurst Street, Motherwell. The project is to be overseen by Central Scotland Forest Trust Strathclyde Park Motherwell. The Trust has been in constant consultation with the local community allotment Committee. The site is at present waste.
Beech & Bryan was approached by OpenSpace to provide an advisory service to assist in a serious of training days and
actual first experience for Forestry Managers and Landowners of the Scottish Countryside trails through the eyes of a person who had a disability yet a professionally trained Access Auditor.The locations took us from Avimore to Glenrothes.
Beech & Bryan was approached by Ayr College to design and deliver suitable Disability Awareness Training for the students of the above courses. The content of each package were aimed at the specific requirements within the catering or hospitality arena. How to offer an inclusive service to all customers and employees were covered by the training and role play took an important part of the deliverance of our packages.
Beech & Bryan was approached by SCCYP to design and
deliver an half days training package for the office staff focusing on the different models of disability, looking at good practice of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 & 2005 and the employment of people with disabilities. This was delivered by two trainers and using interactive quizzes and visual aids we successfully gave a unique insight of disability.
Beech & Bryan has been approached by Handicabs to design and deliver five half days training package for the office staff and drivers focusing on the different models of disability, looking at good practice of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 & 2005 on how to offer an inclusive service to all customers were covered by the training and role play and practical demonstrations will be taking an important part of the deliverance of our package, this is to begin in the next week.
Beech & Bryan was approached by Glasgow Prestwick Airport in respect of delivering Disability Awareness Training and Manual Handling/Lifting Training to incorporate new E U Guidelines for its Staff and Reduced Mobility Passengers travelling through its Airport.
We are currently carrying out the Training Programmes for the different sections within the Airport.
